When I’m conducting a bridal hair and make up trial I ask brides to bring Along a Photo of the “look” they’re hoping to achieve. This gives me a starting point and an insight into what type of look my bride is aiming for on her big day. Bridal make up is often very natural, clean and precise. It’s very exciting when one of my brides tells me they’re going for a red lip or smoky eye – but it certainly doesn’t happen every day! When selecting a hair style I always advise my brides to consider and hair accessories they’re intending to add, and where possible to have these available to me at the time of trial. This might include a veil, tiara, side clips, headbands or slides. Below you can see a photo in which fresh flowers were added to the hair – this was a beautiful finishing touch and really complimented the style created. Your chosen hair accessory really is something worth giving some thought to, consider the look you’re going for but also think about comfort – if a headband digs in behind your ears it’s maybe not the best choice for your big day! I offer a free telephone consultation to all my brides so if you’d like to message or call me I’d be happy to have a chat with you and offer some advice!
