So many brides go to so much trouble , ensuring they try to think of everything on their big day. Every personal touch – whether it be a wedding favour, a particular chair cover, a handwritten name place – it’s all designed with their guests in mind, to make them feel special.

So thats why on the morning of a wedding I always ensure I have a little something for the bride. Traditionally speaking you probably know the rhyme ..

”Something old, Something new, Something borrowed, Something blue…”

Well, whilst I can’t pretend to cover all the bases it’s important to me to leave you with a little something to say thank you. As they say, ‘It’s the thought that counts’ and by gifting you just a little something it gives me the opportunity to add that extra bit of value to my brides on the big day. (You can see the gorgeous Claire with her little blue bag in the picture above from her wedding day at Goodnestone Park )  It’s to say thank you for choosing me, thank you for putting your trust in me to make you beautiful on your big day, and thank you for having me there with you on the most important morning of your life. Yes, I am technically only there to do your wedding hair and make up but to me it truly does feel like so much more than that. I get a backstage view, I get to be a part of the prep, the build up , the excitement , the nerves. I get to see the moments of nervous giggles between you and your friends, the tears from mum, and the look that dad gets in his eye when he walks in and sees you for the first time.

Like I always say ‘I don’t go to work – I go to weddings’ and in my opinion there really is no better job!

I look forward to hearing from you
